The main organizer of championship is IFCKF and its President Gor Vardanyan.
The President of National Federation of Armenia is Hayk Vardanyan.
Artak Geletyan was the representative of the CIS team.
At the day of the opening of championship he was also presented the
Black Belt 3 Dan by Gor Vardanyan.
This was the fifth championship organized in Armenia. There were many guests invited from foreign countries and “near abroad”. More than thirty heads of organizations and companies shared the main principles of IFCKF and contributed to organization of this important event were presented the rank of honorary members of IFCKF.
There were more that 8 000 spectators watched the championship. It was real sport festival for thousands of sport lovers and karate fan. Championship impressed by dynamic fights and sportsmen’s high qualification, and this aspect was stressed by many guests and spectators. They also noticed the importance of such championship organization in sport promotion. As the Honorary President of IFCKF The Head of State Security Service RA Grigory Sarkisyan said, “Organization of such a championship in our country is a great honor for us”.
All presenters came to conclusion that this initiative was not last one and the next project was not far off.
